Family Support Services
The LESD Family Success Center partners with families and the community to create a stable environment where children can succeed. To help families in this we provide a number of family support services provided by Family Advocates and Parent Educators. These include:
Case Management: Working one-on-one with families on an ongoing basis to help them get the resources and skills they need to meet their goals.
Parenting Skills Education: Providing direct education to help parents develop the skills they need to help their children succeed.
Parent and Family Involvement: Connecting families to schools by assisting the family in advocating for services and participating in their child's education.
Family Advocacy: Being a voice for the needs of the child and family with schools and partner organizations to help ensure that the family's needs are met.
Community Involvement and Advocacy: Connecting families to ways they can be part of their community and have a voice in improving their community for their children.
